VAC Motorsports developing 1500+ hp capable billet S54 (E46 M3) engine block

Considering the S54 already has a very strong iron block this is an interesting development. BimmerBoost can only imagine a handful of people have pushed the S54 block to its breaking point but for those who really want to push the limits, VAC will have a billet block solution.

They say this piece will be 1500+ horsepower capable and not to mention much lighter than the factory iron block.

Serious drag racers and standing 1/2 mile or mile enthusiasts will no doubt be the target audience.

Now how about a billet S65 block VAC?

This block with a big turbo, stand alone, mated to a DCT. Can you say giant killer?
