    n54 e92 custom exhast

    i have 335i n54 2007 e92
    im install downpipes
    i have sec cats and original x-pipe and rear stock muffler with golf tee mod
    so ..
    whats the best exhaust setup
    i dont want rasp..
    i think that remove sec cat and PE mod ?

    Stock exhaust tends to rasp in my opinion so your kind of limited to what you can get. I think the best blend of what you want for sound/drone/rasp would be removing the secondary cats and replacing them with straight through small resonators - the stock one is useless. That and the PE mod to your muffler would probably sound good, I think there's probably videos of similar exhausts on youtube.

    I would personally just get a different exhaust altogether but it sounds like you want to modify the stock one.

    Mine is e92 its without resonator have a x pipe?

    I run catless downpipes, aftermarket resonators, factory x pipe, and 2 small custom made glasspacks to add a little depth. No rasp and its pretty LOUD. Without the glasspacks, it gets a tiny bit of rasp at about 4k which is why I added the glasspacks. Also I wanted everything straight through, no baffles or chambers.
