    Could a custom MHD BEF help with boost at high altitude?

    Hi all

    I live 6000 feet above sea level, and building boost is notoriously finicky up here. Currently I stack a jb4 on map 3 with the BMS supplied MHD BEFs you can grab from their F30 n55 tuning page.

    As it stands, my car has trouble making boost all the way up here with maxed out PWMs and low WMI flow; no boost leaks, just really thin air. Whenever im an hour out of town and a few hundred feet lower there is a noticeable power increase. With a pure stage 2, port injection meth, and a stage 3 LPFP I should be easily pushing 20+ psi but in the highest altitude parts of town I peak at 17 on a good day.

    Part of the problem is unfortunately just the altitude making boost a commodity no matter what, but I was wondering if custom BEF tuning could help with the altitude starvation. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

    What does your wgdc% look like when you're only reaching 17lbs?

    A custom flash certainly wouldn't make it worse. Can you post up a log?

    Here is a log. WGDC is almost maxed in most places and totally maxed in others. This is actually better behavior than normal because I think this was done a couple towns over where I go to uni which is up to 2000 feet lower in altitude.

    meth is flowing but it doesnt log because WGDC is maxed out and im not making enough boost

    Everyone says its a boost leak but its sealed up tight
