    E90 Center Muffler

Hey guyís , so Iíve been doing some searching but I canít seem to find definite info that Iím looking for.

    So this thing isnít just a resonator , itís a muffler/resonator ???

I am wondering just how much the muffler part of that actually cuts out on the audible sound , Iím completely catless , and looking to just increase some sound abit more. Just looking for knowledge on this part First.

    Thanks so much!!

Not sure what you're referring to? Some specific center muffler setup?

The e90 resonator is basically a muffler and a resonator in 1 from what I’ve read.

The e90 has the resonator/muffler and the e92 has an x-pipe. If you wanted more sound I would replace with an x-pipe. If you did the PE mod it would be pretty raspy with no secondaries.

I thought it was more than just a resonator , I’m already fully catless , so I’ll keep the mufflers stock , Ill probably through and x pipe and two small resonators on then since I’m using cutouts as well

It's more of a resonator. It doesn't have enough packing to be an effective muffler. I replaced it with an X-pipe and the increase in sound was very minimal.
