You may be right but I'm not holding bitcoin but some altcoins. Really no point to make any moves.

Odd that as soon as the Fed announced rate hikes crypto took off again.

Obviously not at $20k again but nice to see green across the board for multiple days in a row. Not sure if we will see a rally in 2019 but who knows. Good to see things didn't go to zero like some predicted.

    Nice to see green everywhere.

    Will it last? Who knows.

Wish I invested as heavily in LINK as I did VET and ICON.

Not sure why I didn't buy into it like I did the others. Probably because it wasn't shilled.

In Top 25 now and the coin basically resisted the entire bear market as the crap coins were shaken out. It's on an incredible run.

Who knows, maybe it will have an ethereum like rise.

They value is entirely based on public perception of future value. I've become convinced it's all just a ponzi scheme to find the bigger sucker.

There is that element but clearly people attribute value to it.

The thing is with bitcoin there is less and less. There is a finite amount.

Why does real life gold have any value? Only because of what it trades at.

Gold has tons of industrial uses and uses as jewelry. Bitcoin is pretty $#@!ing useless.
The way Bitcoin difficulty increases work, if the price dips around the time of a difficulty increase, the miners will stop mining and the hash rate will go way down so basically no transactions will be able to be processed. In this case if you try to sell your transaction will take forever and you could easily lose most of your value by the time you are finally able to sell.
Not to mention the sketchy sketchy relationship with Tether which is a $#@!ing ponzi scheme.

Ethereum at least has some utility with Dapps but the future is uncertain for sure and is unfortunately very correlated to the price of Bitcoin so if BTC takes a dump ETH will be affected too.

I still have a decent amount of ETH and ill keep holding but im not banking on or expecting anything great to happen.
