All E9X's use the same length driveshaft, but is dependant on the transmission/carrier. If you change your transmission and/or carrier, then the length will change. Nothing to do with the actual chassis type i.e stock E90 driveshaft is the same as the stock E92 driveshaft

I mean... That's only 2 other fitments really, e9x and e82. Might be worth someone measuring to see if it's even different at all.
If we can get 5 people with the "same configuration", yes, we can do it. However, we would need an oem/modified sample driveshaft from you to take our measurements from

I haven't heard of many driveshaft failures, even on the 800+ hp cars.
It does indeed. Although 5k-6kg may sound small, plus the fact that it's a 1pc driveshaft with no centre coupling, parasitic drivetrain loss is markedly reduced. This is on top of the strength benefits (there are several cases of the oem driveshaft failing)

Unfortunately not, as our driveshaft/flange lengths are slightly different (due to being 1pc and a different design), so we need the actual driveshaft here

    I have a m3 dct driveshaft shortened 1 1/8" to fit in a 335is

Would it be possible to make a m3 dct shaft for me just 1 1/8" shorter?

By sample, I mean a sample of the exact fitment that you require (i.e if you want a custom fitment, we need your modified example)

Even being given trans output flange to diff flange measurements isn't good enough, when you have the measurements of your flanges?

I suppose you want to be able to confirm yourselves hmm..

Where does the sample have to be sent to if it came to it?

You're probably the only person in the world with that setup haha

Did it make installation/getting lengths to fit etc any easier/more straight bolt up?
