all that and no air filter. it kills me when they go through all that trouble to look as absolutely clean as possible and then let the engine drink tap water: rich, full, filthy nasty regular air.

Get that thing some desani. I want to see it breathing pure spring water filtered out all the deer piss pls

It might have been done like that for a show and then the filter came on later.

    hello thanks for suggestions,

Its always possible. But the shape is telling us that they are funneling the air into the compressor as if to provide a boost in air density before it even hits the compressor. An air funnel which- does not contain appendages for any kind of filter.

Endurance sand racing for example, applications requiring several significant stages of pre-engine filtration must function with such performance additives, as opposed to being 'in the way' or 'considered useless'. We should consider how whoever leaves the filter off even got the idea to do so in the first place. Is air really 'invisible'? I suppose so, to us anyways. But does that mean it contains empty vacuum?

Remind me how many part per million of 'stuff' is in the air anywhere in the world

I definitely wouldn’t drive around without a filter on, but I don’t think this engine has even been run before. That would ruin the rainbow effect the welding introduced on the SS exhaust pipe they have sticking out of the back of the turbo. My guess is this is all show, and literally NO go.
