    • Another Gintani Stage X (E85/Ethanol) E92 M3 S65 V8 Supercharger build - 679 rear wheel horsepower

Gintani has by far the strongest stock internal E9X M3 S65 V8 supercharger builds out there. They are basically right on the doorstep of the 7XX rwhp mark with their Stage X S65 supercharger system.

What is the key? Ethanol. The fuel system is upgraded to flow plenty of E85 and the boost on the Vortech blower is cranked up with tuning to match:

The reason this works well with the S65 V8 is the torque comes in up top. Just look at that curve as measured on the Dynocom. That means the rods are not stressed in the same manner as a turbo or positive displacement setup.

If you want the maximum amount of horsepower on the E9X M3 without opening the motor, this is quite simply the best option.

For those wondering, the BimmerBoost.com E92 M3 is getting a similar setup and looking for that 7XX number.

This works as long as quality E85 is readily accessible. The last thing you want to do is pump in some low-ethanol fuel, rip on it, and knock the motor to death.

I plan on keeping a pin ethanol race gas drum at home and when going on a long trip flashing to a less aggressive map.

Plus meth as a safety so I think I'm good.

Are they using the AFD kit for this?

Nice! This kit looks pretty solid if it works as advertised.

No this Avanced fuel dynamics e85 kit. Looks like it prettty solid for NA cars from my research. But not many have adapted to SC cars yet. I thought Gintani was using this.

I mean we can ask what they are using but the E85 fuel system is more involved than just that sensor. @Sales@Gintani.com

Thanks man - after some research i think they are using it, although they are the only one to actually get it working with sc m3’s, I’m looking forward to what they have to say. Gintani does come good work.

        Is that car still alive?
I thought you ritually burned it when you bought your Porsche...

        Why?

So I have two quick German cars that make their power very differently...

Because no one has ever said anything about this car any more, no updates ever were shared, you were all keen on tuning your new 911, and never ever spoke of your M3 project ever again. So everybody moved on. A E92 M3, let's be frank, is really old news nowadays. Especially if it's a 6 year old build...
But if it lives, the more glory to it.
        Any updates?
