    • Pure Turbos Pure800 BMW B58 hybrid turbo upgrade making 622 rwhp on F21 M140i

Absolutely awesome power here out of a B58 powered BMW with the Pure Turbos Pure800 (formerly Stage 2) hybrid turbo upgrade. Unlike the previous F21 M140i we saw with a Pure Turbos B58 hybrid this M140i using supplemental methanol injection for fuel.

European B58's apparently have a different HPFP (high pressure fuel pump) setup allowing for much more fuel when combined with methanol injection the B58 is able to clear 600 rear wheel horsepower with the Pure Turbos 800 hybrid turbo upgrade:

You see solid spool and a power curve that grows until redline as the torque curve holds well. This looks to be about the sweet spot for the B58 with a hybrid turbo.

Torque hits 560.5 lb-ft at the wheels.

This output is achieved at 26 psi with an E40 fuel blend.

Just more strong aftermarket B58 results.

Wow what a time to be alive, I remember when N55 couldn't even imagine 500whp

Why are these European hpfps so much stronger?

This is the same car that made 600WHP on 93 only, and 19 psi. So 7 more psi and meth to make 22 more WHP? Something seems fishy. I would believe 26 psi and meth for 622 much more quickly than 600WHP 93 only, and 19 psi. Halim said they were misreading boost on the original 600WHP graph. Either way its making good power

Maybe I'm mistaken but wasn't the other car blue? I might be thinking of a different one.

Well that post by "Chris" on F30post sounds pretty similar now... Is it that hard to look at the post 4 down showing a dark grey/blue 140i as the pump gas 600 whp car?

Tony, post some competitive results then you won't have time to $#@! about Pure.

It's hard te believe the euro hpfp is different, no reason for BMW to make that effort...

Same engine, same turbo, same tuner. 22WHP for 7 psi, and Methanol injection? Does that add up to you Joe?

I know the hardware is capable of the peak figures as I'm sure you'll agree. The Pure B58 stuff is solid so far IMO and the Stage 2 / Pure800 numbers are strong.

I've seen some shady marketing graphs coming from HCP and PTF for a while now and I'm sure you have too.

Notice the correction factor intentionally cut off for one.

Whenever he claims boost without a boost graph I just sort of roll my eyes. I can only report what I have to go on and obviously it's good to ask questions.

Its the same car as before. We just wrapped it last week to match our pure turbo cars colors (m3 and ttrs).
apparently there was some sensor issue last time.
we see a solid 560-580 whp on 93 octane 23-24 psi.
we just figured to add some ethanol to up the octane to run more boost. However around 580whp the dorch st2 pump would not hold pressure (or its the lpfp but car has no sensor). Since we were on e40 blend we added meth and able to get 622whp on 26-27 psi.
the turbo wants to do more but we rather forge the engine first before pushing it any further.

        graph is in std correction.

when weather permits we’ll take it out for some dragy runs and a dash video as well.
