    • N55 block reinforced with Cylinder Support System (CSS)

You might be saying seeing the Cylinder Support System on a BMW I6 block is nothing new as many N54's are using this block reinforcing process. That is true but few N55's are using it despite the similar architecture.

N55's are starting to come into their own and as we see more very powerful examples the need for stronger bottom ends increases. Obviously the N54 had this application first due to sheer volume and length on the market.

      What should you know?

Cylinder Support System By CNC Werx
      -No Sleeves Required
      -Won't Sink
      -Won't shift
      -Won't Leak
      -Runs Cooler

At $795 this is hard to beat and proven to work. It is surprising more BMW applications are not taking notice.

You would have to ask them on that one.

        I'd assume so.

Wait runs cooler? Normally these things block up the water gallery making it run hotter so I'm kind of skeptical that it runs cooler.

I bet coolant circulation through the holes in the deck is pretty much sufficient.
