    • E82 135i with TTE500 N54 hybrid turbos hits 100-200 kph in 7.0 seconds and dynos 552 horsepower

If you missed a previous article on TTE Global go ahead and click here to read about Europe's largest hybrid turbo vendor. As this is predominantly a US based board most N54 enthusiasts go with American vendors. It is always nice to see results from other options though.

This E82 135i is equipped with the TTE500 N54 hybrid turbochargers as mentioned with Bimmertech tuning:

      TheTurboEngineers TTE500 Turbolader
      Bimmertech Inlets
      Bimmertech Walbro 255 Inline Benzinpumpe
Keine WMI nur ein Wagner Tuning EVO 3 LLK
Bimmertech Mapping natürlich via MHD Tuning

      The result is 552 PS:

It is not a dyno queen either, 100-200 kph in 7.0 flat:

A solid and reliable hybrid setup from a reputable vendor, what's not to like?

        Are these TTE turbo’s reliable?
I know they’re widely used in Germany, but the feedback isn’t really there (also due to a language barrier)..
I’d love these as a small upgrade to stock, since i’m EU based.

TTE in Germany is more like a premium company. There are no (or close to none) "official forum" complaints about reliability or similar as they offer a great service and buyers contact them directly. No idiots flaming on forums before contacting TTE in the first place.

If you are based in EU go TTE or Pure Netherlands.

They have former OEM engineers working for them and you don't see complaints. Good results continue to come in.

        Thanks for the replies!
The VAG boys here use the TTE turbo's a lot and they have good results with them.
I just read poor things about the TTE480/550 for the N54, but they've been replaced with the TTE500/600.
I guess this is good news then ;-)
