    • LS3 V8 in an E30 BMW 3-Series - Cheap speed or cheesy?

The E30 is revered in BMW circles as to this day it is a blast to drive. Light, balanced, and fairly affordable with a ton of parts in the market. LS swaps are increasingly being done and certainly nothing new but some of the newer swap kits make things look pretty darn clean under the hood.

This E30 looks absolutely stunning. The M3 fenders are necessary for wider rubber and the LS motor looks right at home.

You certainly get a nice sleeper here with more than enough power for the chassis. It also is hard to beat the sound and response of the 6.2 liter V8 especially for the money.

A cool swap? Sure. A sleeper? Definitely. A BMW? Well, one with a heart transplant.

There are companies that do various LS swap kits into BMW's.

E46 and E36 models are popular in particular.

The E30 is tougher due to space but also been done countless times.

Seems pretty cool, but just imagine an S65, instead. Probably waaaaay more expensive to do, though.

Way more expensive but it's been done and is way cooler IMO: https://www.boostaddict.com/showthre...-Awron-S65-E30
