    • AMS Performance also decides to enter the 2020 MKV/A90 Supra B58 tuning scene - First 11-second MKV Supra, 11.6@121 1/4 mile

The new Supra is bringing in many well known import tuners into what is quickly becoming an incredibly competitive B58 tuning scene. AMS Performance is well known for their Nissan GT-R builds which are some of the fastest in the world.

AMS dabbled with tuning BMW's in the past so tuning a BMW motor is not entirely new to them. We did not see some of their BMW promises come to fruition however as their big turbo F10 M5 S63TU setup never materialized.

The Supra proves to be different as it is a higher volume and lower cost market with a ton of B58 carryover into the BMW world.

The bolt on results are great with a 100 octane tune and drag radials providing for an 11.6 @ 121:

An 11-second B58 is nothing new. The race to the 10's for the Supra is on.

      Who will get there first?

I’m surprised they aren’t sixty-footing better with DR’s. Once they get that squared away, they should be able to drop a couple more tenths off the E.T. Pretty good results, though!

The most entertaining part was all the imbeciles on IG claiming Dragy results were inaccurate. Interestingly enough, the drag strip inflated their trap speed quite a bit vs dragy... seems their equipment might be a bit off.

That made me scratch my head.

Seems like that is a VERY friendly drag strip. Might explain some of the records we have seen from there recently.
