    • VTT GC turbo upgrade equipped BMW F80 M3 runs 10.1@142.2 setting S55 stock internal quickest and fastest 1/4 mile pass

It is great to see more results for the VTT (Vargas Turbo Technologies) GC BMW S55 turbo upgrade and congratulations are in order. A Puerto Rican BMW F80 M3 running the VTT GC turbos just reset the quickest and fastest stock internal S55 1/4 mile records.

The car ran an impressive 10.154 @ 142.27:

As for the upgrades, the car features the VTT Spline lock (SPLOCK) crank hub solution, VTT GC inlets, and tuning by @CaryTheLabelGuy on Ignite red with methanol injection.

      Congratulations to all involved.

Congrats to @bimmersolutions on the new S55 stock motor 1/4mile ET and trap world record which now sits at 10.15@142mph, custom tuned by @jordantuned using bootmod3 running @vargasturbo GC turbosRepost @vargasturbo Repost @protuningfreaks

This is how's it's done folks. First set of VTT S55 GC's installed on a customer car, 1st event. New S55 stock motor record for ET, and trap. How about 10.15@142MPH? @bimmersolutions laying down the law in PR, with @jordantuned on the tune, and #S55 #F80m3#vttinnovation #vttfamily#vttdomination #VTT#carythelabelguy #jordantuned#protuningfreaks #bm3#bimmersolutions #F82 #F80 #f8x#bmw #twinturbo #gamechanger#gamechangers #splinelock#leaddontfollow

We had a couple GC cars at that event. The other car was on 20's and couldn't launch, and still ended up running a 10.5 at 139. These cars are damn impressive...

        What is ignite red?

I am guessing something rated at 140 MON. Methanol was PI on stock manifold?

114 (MON or RON? Or M/2+R/2?) Alcohol fuel. Must have had LPFP upgrades at least, I presume?

Ignite red is nothing but E85 with some blend ignite uses. I have a 55 gallon drum I got from someone locally. I ran it back to back on multiple vehicles against the pump E85 we get from the station up the street. None of them picked up any power by just changing the fuel. What it does allow is a little extra detonation resistance so you can run slightly more timing, etc. Basically its E85 with an added safety net, and detonation resistance...

Is that like running E85 with Torco or Boostane added in?

Kind of but the Ignite blend is much higher quality and consistent.

This car ran a 10.01, then backed it up with a 9.93 pass at 142. Everyone has been hunting that stock motor 9 sec pass for 3 years with the turbos which were available on the market. They could never get it done. The first set of GC's on a 3rd party car gets it done in a week. Its a changing of the guard folks.Click here to enlargeClick here to enlarge

They not only cost more and have an exaggerated core charge, they could never get it done. The first set of GC's on a 3rd party car gets it done in a week. Its a changing of the guard folks. Why would you pay more for an inferior product that requires you to send in your stock cores after paying a hefty core charge...?
Keep up the good work Tony!
