Is E92 N55 tuning as comprehensive as N54 or Fxx N55? I recall a discussion about it, i might be wrong though.

glad to see someone gets it :) counting vacation/ tourism $$ as services is bogus economic trick and always creates a false Surplus for the larger country.... the US population is about 10x bigger than canada, so if both countries have 5% of their population visiting each country then that would be about 16M americans going to canada on ski vacation(usa export) and about 1.8M canadians coming to US to drive slow and in the wrong lane (usa import) vacation is not trade even though the media (and its minions like campbell) quote it as trade to push a false narrative when it suits them

services =/= goods. we need to get closer to having goods equal. Services doesnt help as much as goods does. This is why people who actually are experts in this quote goods, and those that follow the media quote services as well.

NAFTA is also about services and with Canada it is basically a wash. I agree NAFTA needs to be looked at with Mexico mainly because of their cheap labour costs. One of the biggest contributors to the US trade deficit is petroleum imports from Canada and Mexico. NAFTA has not contributed to this but rather US consumption. You want to slow down or stop the US trade deficit with Canada, stop using so much oil.

Do you know what the build was like? What kind of turbo, tuning method, and how much power to the wheels? Because generally from what I see/hear is garbage tunes causing n55's to go.

Putting it together, one bolt and one piece at a time... Degree'd the cams. Using aftermarket timing blocks I've found they set the cam timing up for a 108° ICL & 108° LSA with 211°Int/206°Exh durations @ 1mm valve lift. I've set the cam timings up for a more boost friendly 110° ICL & 112°LSA Modified supercharger to bolt down to adapters: Flipped supercharger pulley for belt alignment: Ran into oil filter canister location problems, between E34 canister and E38 timing covers so I decided to mount an old hot rodders dual spin on filter bracket using -12an hose. Started to DEI wrap the S65 manifolds. Will be working on the flanges next week to bolt down to the heads, ran out of wrap but will re-do a thorough job when more arrives:

First off this is about NAFTA, which is Canada and Mexico. It is also about goods and the factories that produce those goods. We had a 17bill deficit in goods last year with Canada and 71bill with Mexico. The factories and the jobs they create are across the border now due to the NAFTA loophole. Having a surplus with Canada in services is inconsequential to what is going on. There is now tangible evidence of the increase tariffs working, jobs are being created. Tariffs on washing machines, solar panels, steel/aluminum have all netted manufacturer plant expansions and/or entire new plants. The next shot across the bow will most likely be autos and auto parts. That will surely be the final nail in the coffin of NAFTA, also a shot towards China.

They fairly deserved it though. Germans are so slow from defense to attack and vise versa and it's pretty challenging to play with possession tactic. Lose the ball and they can get you in counter attack. So far all the giants played below expectations.

I finally got around to deleting my 340i CDV after a thread on that other BMW forum. Long story short, Yes you can do it, yes you should do it, and it’s very easy. If you disconnect the inlet line going into the clutch slave cylinder: you’ll see a silver metal restrictor plate with a TINY hole in it and a black rubber piece that holds that metal restrictor in place. The first guy who found this out said he drilled his to have a larger hole but I decided to just throw away the metal restrictor and rubber piece. The line has its own o-ring that seals it so you don’t need these other two pieces. Just throw them away, re-connect the line, flush your fluid and you’re done. The shifting experience is night and day better. Not only is it so much smoother and easier to avoid jerky shifts, the clutch feels like it holds a lot more torque. I was having slipping issues with my car (only power mod is MPPSK) when launching but that has gone away entirely. So far, the couple people who have done this including myself took the clutch slave out of the car. I suspect you may be able to leave it in the car and use a pick to pull out the restrictor and rubber piece but it will not be easy. I don’t think anyone has tried that yet to be sure. Taking the slave out and putting it back is a little bit of a pain but done within an hour or two on a lift with proper tools. It’s just difficult to reach the top bolt if I remember correctly. #13 is NOT the CDV. I had the same theory so I bought one to inspect and it has zero restriction in it. The only restriction is at the inlet to the slave and removing that gave me a heavier pedal with immediate response. I’m loving it. You may also want to get rid of the clutch pedal return spring while you’re trying to improve your shifting experience.

voltage regulator would make sense, as when cold the alternator puts out alot more current. Then as it warms up the alt/regulator can't keep up and causes oscillations on key components (throttle/HPFP/injectors being most important)
