The problem for BMW and other automakers in China - blatant ripoffs of their designs

Everyone keeps talking about the importance of the Chinese market. BMW is taking China very seriously offering multiple special editions for China and realizing the potential of the market. What is the problem? The Chinese allow their own automakers to steal designs and sell them as cheaper knock-offs. China does not have the same trademark or copyright enforcement as the rest of the world and it is clear something is going to have to change. Check out these "Chinese" versions of BMW designs.

I don't think it will affect their bottom line but it certainly creates issues when China will allow its automakers to just copy other automakers blatantly. It shows they need to catch up to world business standards.

Its not about sales, its about principal. The chinese are just robots, they have no creativity and no motive to be creative either; just to profit and become a superpower. If this is the way to do it, so be it; they say. America lives off of free trade and creativity, china lives off of mass labor and cheap products.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.
