True. But I think Schumacher will call it a day at the end of the season. These 2 seasons were allways a glorified hobby project for him which he got based on his former championships.
Ross will not let him exit unvolentary, at least not mid season. I hope he will keep the honours to himself end season and realize that he is damaging his own legend by being constantly outperformed by a 25 year old Rosberg.

Yup, Schumi coming back was a big let down. I'm a Schumi fan, but I don't think he should have come back. This is just tarnishing his legacy. But Mercedes as a whole has a lot of work to due. I notice it during the races, that at times the car can compete with Mclaren, then they fall of the cliff and lose their edge. Schumi will stay till the end of the season at least. Mercedes already has a non racing job lined up for him anyways.

I don't see Rosberg moving any time soon, He's the future for Mercedes. Mclaren is trying to lock in their drivers, Red Bull most likely won't get another driver to compete with their poster boy Vettel, and as long as Massa is out perfoming Alonso, he'll stay there. I would love to see Di Resta or Kobayashi drive for Mercedes next year.

Don't underestimate the pull of Ferrari. They got the big money, and are willing to pay it. Plus, at Ferrari your fame is made if you can perform (unless your name is Giancarlo Fisichella Click here to enlarge ). They have a whole nation behind them of which Ferrari is the pride and joy.
And most drivers are susceptible to that psycology. I would not be surprised if Rosberg made the switch. Even with the prospect of Alonso as a "teammate".

Agreed, bu the only variable is Alonso. He's a cry baby and will always try to get what he wants. He'll leave Ferrari before they get a driver just as good as him. I guarantee you he won't stay quiet if Massa continues to outperform him.

It's his legacy to tarnish. What is he supposed to do, just sit at home thinking about the good old days? He is still good enough to drive, hang on to it until the last moment. That is how it is, he was the best.

Outqualified again for the Turkish grand prix.
Rosberg is 3rd on the starting grid. Schumacher 8th, with 1.1 sec slower!
He was one of the best in his days (up for debate, it is a driver / car combo of course) , but he is no longer feared by any driver there.

Of course not, and that is how it is. You grow old, time goes on and new blood comes up.

He still has had the better career than any of them. If he wants to race until they push him out, his business. I would fight until the end too.

He has been out qualified this year and last, but the races this year have been back and forth between him and Rosberg. I think it's sort of odd the old Schumi was great at qualifying and was horrible at his race starts and the new Schumi is the exact opposite. I see him out starting 2-3 cars during the race tomorrow as long as no one takes him out, like the first race. He's been struggling to get the right car setup since he got back, if he can get it right, he'll be on par with Rosberg, if not better.

    Enjoy.
Did you bring earplugs? Those cars are LOUD.
Rent a kangaroo console! So.much easier to follow the race, and much more information!
    Where are you sitting?
Can I recognize you Shirt/flag/hat/anything TV coverage would pick up (exept the girl Click here to enlarge )?

Yup, very exciting race! All these fights are playing into Vettel's hand. Vettel is just in a class of his own this year. He dominating qualifying, the race and tyre management. I wonder if anyone will be able to catch up to him this year.

    It was another exiting race.
4 stops was the way to go. Pitty for Jenson.
Vettel is turning out to be unstoppable at this point.
And Ferrari's Alonso did very well, surprisingly.
Massa fell away again after a bad pitstop because he left the rear wheels spinning...
But there were more people suffering from bad pitstops / unwilling wheelnuts
