New tuning choice for Obd1 tuning Miller Performance

E36 OBDI Turbo Tuning by Miller Performance FINALLY!

We have finally gotten around to paying some proper attention to the e36 crowd! We can now begin to offer OBDI tuning for Turbo Charged E36 M/S 5X based engines.

We will be releasing our OBDI Tuning packages early April!Click here to enlarge
The tuning package will consist of the following:

    1) Miller Plug and play Blow through MAF sensor - This is 110% plug and play. No wire cutting, no special adapter harnesses, your stock MAF plug will connect right to our new MAF. The MAF will support around 600 - 650 WHP but higher can be calibrated & supplied if needed.

    2) 6 High Flow Injectors - We will be offering 60's at first, we are just about to test/finalize the possibility of 1000's so the option for high HP e85 applications should be covered.

    3) Miller WAR Chip - This will speed up your fine tuning process like non other. The WAR Chip gives you or your local tuner enough control to massage the base tune to your specific car. Whenever you change your hardware, you don't have to buy a new tune. You will also be able to store a bunch of different tunes! Pump gas tune, race gas tune, meth tune, Valet mode the possibilities are end less!

    4) Base tune - The WAR Chip will always come with a base tune for your set up. You never start from scratch with the WAR Chip and the base tunes are safe from 5 - 20 psi at first.

    5) Remote tuning support - With our tuning package you WILL get the remote tuning support you may need. The time saved with email file transfers is huge. As usual all we would need to help you remotely is a dyno graph and sometimes a plot of the MAF output voltage

I will have some pictures of our new MAF as soon as our production ones roll in. The prototype is ugly Click here to enlarge

    NOW FOR THE GOODIES!

520 WHP and 520 WTQ @ 15 PSI with 110 octane on our Mustang Dyno Click here to enlarge

People say a lot of good things about the WAR chip.

    Thing is, OBD-I only?

Yes, OBDI at this time only. We are figuring a similar game plan for OBDII but that is some time away still.

What is the complication with using the chip with OBD-II cars?

Still, great to see this as an option for the E36 OBD-I market.

Welcome, and if you have any vids on the unicycle be sure to post em up.

I've been using the War chip on an M20 turbo car at work and it's been working great so far. We just swapped the turbo out (car had an eBay turbo that had horrible boost creep in 3rd gear) so once the hardware is done we'll get back to tuning it again. It's a nice and simple piece of software that makes it easy for anyone with basic tuning knowledge to get a car up and running.

Also with he M30s..I was looking into their products for a bit when I was considering FI.

For the moment the MAF conversion and the WAR chip are in my budget for this build...who knows maybe some cheap 745i parts will find their way on to the car..
