    question for JB4 users

My buddy was talking cars with me and said the newest version of the juicebox 4 or 5, not sure which, was very very fast...and I was just curious how fast?

are there any 60-130 or 1/4 mile times for it?

I dont know much about the N54 but I said I would ask around and get some info for him.

I don't know if the JB4 is much faster than the JB3, not to say it isn't better.

Well he said it would prob.be as fast as my car. I thought no way with just a tune, but I dont know much about them so maybe, if so thats awesome. I only know from seeing all the 335 vs m3 threads that maybe its faster than an m3?

His gf is looking at an m3 and 335 so just asking for them.

eh, JB4 faster than JB3? i dont think there have been back-back comparisons, but boost control along with other features make it much faster on paper. i personally gained a few mph in the 1/8 mile, but thats because i have more control of the boost, but same psifor psi, no, they are all the same.

If your looking for tune only #'s, you have a few guys that posted their BESTS, hotrod, sleepydub and a few others, but a tune only, or tune and air filter only car, should be about 110-112 mph on 93 octane. the foremetioned guys have gone i believe 115-118 with meth..but not what your talking about i think..

Raw performance is similar between them. A stock 335i with a JB4 on 93 octane will run 108-109mph on average. With race gas 113-115mph. Then as you add mods you can get up to 116-120mph. Stock turbos peak at around there depending on conditions.

His car is not going to be anywhere near as fast as yours especially without meth.

I didnt think so, but still seems like very impressive improvements.

Ask frank Click here to enlarge he's had quite a few good runs with various other vehicles....

I've been in a few cars with the JB3 with light mods, and they were keeping up with a C6 vette...
