I am a bit skeptical as the car jumped from 7.9 to 6.9... don't really understand it.

Thats crazy. Should be putting out over 600whp, i didnt know the stock turbo's could handle it. I thought they were maxed out around 500whp. What does the .28 shot equate to? Only way to tell is to dyno with and without it. I read it was done on the same road Drew did his, is this a freak location??

That's the thing man... it isn't putting out 600 whp.

Basically he is at ~500-515 whp.

The dry shot is about a 40 shot, but the way it reacts with the fuel system, ecu, and boost, produces about 100 hp gains.

The car went from 7.9 to 6.9... It just doesn't make sense.

Funniest part -- he has UR 2.5" downpipes. The same ones the eBay company knocked off and sells for $190. Click here to enlarge

Ya I would love to hear more details about it.

If it makes a 100 more hp with that shot then its really a 100shot. Usually people rate the shots by hp gains.

    6.9 is a very quick 60-130 time.

I highly doubt he is shooting a 100 DRY shot, that would be extreeeemely dangerous

It's a .28 jet. My best guess is he's picking up 60whp from it. Normally it would be worth around 40whp but there is some synergy with the turbo and methanol injection apparently.

Well ya a dry shot is dangerous, and if he is making 60whp then its a 60shot, if its making a 100whp (seems closer) then its a 100shot.

Guys, courtesy of member spdu4ea's excellent work, based on Warren's Vbox Graphs, he's making around 520whp, but this measurement is a tad conservative, on a Dynojet he's proably around 550whp, take a look at the area under the curve! That is wicked!

    Awesome job Warren!!!

Guys, don;t forget that n54's strength is really in it's torque, you have to take into account that.

No Taza, that is not how it works with a dry shot on the N54: http://www.bimmerboost.com/showthread.php?t=671

A lot of reading but it will make sense when you finish.

I think he was saying that they are only 2.5" versus the other 3" pipes on the market (like ar design) are probably better and flow more.

Does anyone else have a feeling that warran/drew/joe will never race? If warren keeps abusing that car, that tranny will let go very soon.

I can't race right now. Believe me, I'll be pushing for it hard once again in 2-3 months.

I have tried to race Warren.. he wouldn't. He hasn't raced anyone lately and refuses to even acknowledge it going off on one of his day dreams about long lines at sacramento.
