    No good clutch options?

Foreseeing the fueling problem to be solved in a few months, we are able to boost the upgraded turbos to the new boost levels with a lot more power. Clutchmasters TD850 series has the torque rating to match, but the price is insane. Any thoughts of possible alternatives? I'm sure some clutches have the ability to hold more torque than their specs when new, but they wear soon to their specs levels which are not enough in most cases.

If nothing else, there is the TD850 solution at high price though.

I have a Line of clutches that are unbeatable on both street and track. Look up OSGiken.net and take a look around.

On the other place there have been a few people reporting problems with the aftermarket clutches. Mostly Spec, but ACT as well. FBIS is having no problem with his Clutchmasters, but I guess they are a good bit more expensive and no one else that posts seems to be running it. It sounds like install might be the common denominator, but who knows

Was not aware that FBIS was having problems with his Clutchmasters clutch, thank you.

Whoa whoa. FBIS is happy with his Clutchmasters last I heard and has no complaints. It's the other companies that have users with issues in the N54 platform

Definitely a good price for the quality. OS has claimed to never rebuilding an LSD because of their durability and their clutches need rebuilding only after years of hard abuse.

Since osgiken.net doesn't list any clutches for N54, it would be a good idea to tell in this N54 specific area if you have any.

I believe having streetable dual disc solution that would hold torque in between 500-700lbft would have enough buffer to havenice longevity.

I have installed several ACT sets with no complaints. As long as you break them in with the street setup and don't abuse it (like some people do anyway) it will hold up to crazy power. dzenno is rocking one now I believe and no I'll effects with 500hp..

It is a nice glutch but it is too early to say how it takes continuous abuse at the power levels of 20+psi @ RB.

Do they have anything? I hope they do. Their site might not have all products listed. E.g. the e92 M3 clutch pictured in this thread is not listed at osgiken.net either.

This particular product is listed as "in development" for OS.

The N54 is a steptronic auto am I correct?

The grand touring clutches like the one for the E92 M3 are brand new and unlisted as are several more clutches and LSD's.

Last I spoke to OS I was under the impression they had developed something for this vehicle.

I believe you showed the way for DCT upgrades. With the upgraded DCT, N54 can be a real beast.

I believe if OS Giken has something for our N54s, it is for manual transmissions.
