    The beauty about the BMW 335i is that a performance gain of almost 100 extra hp can be accomplished without having to replace the standard turbo's, internals and transmission. Choosing for bigger turbo's isn't done much, while a supercharger is more common. The reason is that the turbo and intake manifold are formed as a complete part, so replacing that with other components would mean replacing it completely...

    No, they are developing a supercharger to be combined with the turbos. It would be their stage 4 kit and is not yet finished.
    They aim at 450 bhp with 600nm torque

    This 335i has 402 bhp with 590 nm and an Acropic exhaust system

    I'm trying to figure out how the intake manifold and turbos are attached as one part. I'm going out on a limb here and say that they meant exhaust manifold. Click here to enlarge
