    Is tempurpedic really that great?

I keep seeing these commercials and I am considering making the switch. I'm sick of my bed which has some lumps and it just isn't that comfortable any longer. A bed is not a place to skimp. I have never tried these mattresses but I'm going to go down to the store and lay down on one.

they feel okay. I've never slept on one but they seem way too stiff for my comfort.

Well, it is... kinda. It's tough to explain. You would need to go lay on one to understand.

I have one. When you first get it it's stiff but now is soft but gives support. I find I get much warmer sleeping in it vs. a regular spring bed.. I would reccomend one, my ex and present girl friend like it too

My girl has one and we will be upgrading to a king when we move out.

It actually helps me sleep better and my snoring is a lot less.

i always wanted to try one as well. just be sure to lay on it for 15-20 minutes as thats how long it takes to let your body rest before you start to feel if you like it or not. i laid on my curent for 5 minutes and thought it was great . and it sucks badly. im contemplating going out this week to shop for a new one as well

It doesnt get hot if you use the right sheets.

I have slept on one a couple nights and I liked it, but then after a few weeks it started to hurt my back. Dont take me as a reliable source, I have back problems. But it does give you good support if you are one of those types that need a stuff bed (my beds are usually solid concrete).

I had one for around a year, just because I was too stubborn to get another mattress. I mean I paid a fortune, so I HAD to get some use out of it. I ended up sweating tons at night and having that sponge of a mattress suck it all up. Over a couple of months, It started getting a divot where my fat ass laid. I didn't think that a foam mattress would do this. Then I started to wake up in the morning with lower back pain for a couple more months. I had enough. I went from that to a traditional mattress made locally. The new mattress is hard as a rock and my back feels tons better. Plus, it was about 1/4 the price. One weird thing about the foam mattress is if you're railing your wife/GF/dog/cat/whatever, it doesn't have the spring back like a regular mattress so you have to work a lot harder to keep from $#@!ing like a quadriplegic.

I $#@!ed my GF at the time on a temperpedic, it is quite strange because the bed doesnt bounce back. So you have to get used to it.

I honestly never got the night sweats/heat from the bed, the bed comes with a special sheet that is water proof (its like a thin plastic cover). On top of that you put like a thin padded sheet and then your regular sheet so it was no hotter than a regular bed.

Did you gaiz read the instruktionz? lol baddies

You mean the thing came with a mattress protector and and a mattress pad? What's so special about that? Those are universal and I use them on my Sealy mattress so the womenz don't $#@!ing ruin it with their vag juices when I'm smanging them. That $#@! will soak right through the sheets.
