ESS only managed to tune up to 14.5 psi which is the limit of boost in the BMW 335i boost tables.
1-2 psi less boost does a big difference. The car run nicely though.

How do other tuners exceed 14.5 psi?

well with piggies you trick the ECU so it wont never see past 8 psi but for flashes you need to rewrite all related tables to support higher boost. The whole car is than aware of the amount of boost pushed. Think only GIAC (maybe Evolve as well) managed to do this very complicated and time consuming job.
