    Thoughts as to this?

Properties is where you may select your interface, from one of five different types. Setup 'Print' if you would like to print off a log or a view, setup your save as location, and I'm accepting ideas for more items. I have the basic screen and data for the properties section, if someone would like to assist in making this in C# with WPF then I am open to anyone helping with that or parts of the other sections.

-Autolog with minimum rpm and pedal position set points.
-Bindable START & STOP log buttons.
-Customizable log file names. I'm MIL so I would love to see DDTTTTSSMMMYY (Ex: 10161401AUG17)

Just a few things off the top of my head. I'd love to help but I've only programmed in VB and Java, and that was 15 years ago in high school.

I like the date! I have actually changed the log save format to HHMMddmmyy for the generic read/write logs. But I can easily change them to that format, as I am also former MIL, I initially had it at YYYYMMDD, HHMMSS. Anyways, I think I can make that an option during logging. When you click on stop I currently have it set to ask you for the filename to save-as. That way you can choose your location and name it as you wish.
@V8Bait - anything you can think of to add?

    Coding!

A link to single women in my area who want to meet me.

    And maybe code reading/readiness monitors/resets.

Code reading seems simple enough, along with standard OBD2 readiness functions along with reset. For the first part, I believe you live close enough to the side of town that has plenty of them for a small fee! Just look for the, "under new management" signs at the massage places! Lol

    I think that looks awesome!

However, I think it may be best to go with the old interface for the next iteration of the BB app and then go with this new interface when the BoostAddict app is announced.

That way people will know models/engines are supported beyond just BMW.

Of course! You can't tell in this still photo; however the turbo is a freeware GIF that spools... this viewpoint is what I need to make it covert in a same manner to mobile platforms without having to re-write the initial interface. All buttons have the next selection of vehicle make by logo except for the 'properties' button. Since @V8Bait recommended diagnostics I have since added the button and am working on the backend functions for a diagnostics section...

Will this be difficult to implement? Any examples as to the types of diagnostic functions? I'm guessing code clearing?

Not really difficult, there are tons of OBD2 reading and clearing tools. Many of them have specific codes for manufacturers, its just a matter of putting them in a database by year together. Functions will most likely initially include code reading/clearing plus battery and injector programming for BMW's and a few select makes that Im aware of that do that as well. It will of course evolve into more as more requests are made. Finding the various functions aren't necessarily difficult either.

This question is for a separate project I'm working on but is there any difficulty with reading a vin from OBD2? If you want to VIN lock something for example?
