That and it's from '07 so that's a rev1 or rev2. Somewhat error prone and they were still working on getting the power out of the engine at the time.

Says in the vid 335 had a boost leak, that explains it.

A stock 335 should pull like that if not more, let alone modded.

That was my 335. I did have a leak. Procede also just sucked ass. Also I had a passenger and a fairly heavy upgraded sound system. And the M3 was gutted inside. It was an N/A M3 and we did this run after I met with the Vishnu guy at Church Automotive. That M3 made 273whp I believe on churches Dynapack dyno that day. And I believe my car made like 320whp iirc. I don't remember.

Gets the wheels speed up faster.. so you dont have to keep in burning out as long.. I do 3rd gear burnouts in the box and wheel speed gets up to 90mph quick and takes no time to get the tires warm!

Exactly, 2nd gear burnout gets them hotter.

sounds about right.. my guess you would trap 110-112 w/o a leak, and about 105 is (same as stock or less) with the leak.. no mystery here hp-wt ratio

110? That is very, very optimistic.

The only E36 M3 I know of to trap like that is a stripped lightweight on slicks.

This one with a shot of nitrous (90) trapped 111: http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-M3-Timeslip-1580.html

Here is a turbo car going 112: http://www.dragtimes.com/BMW-M3-Timeslip-7244.html

In stock form the car hits about 100 mph through the traps. 10 mph is a lot to pick up. The weight reduction may give him 2 mph or so. I doubt it would trap any more than 105 at best.
