    Studs or bolts for PI

What is everyone using on their PI systems when it comes to fasteners for manifold? Bolts? Studs? Where sourced from? What size?

My bolts seem a bit short so I wanted to go to studs

The studs are nice in some locations, but I've found them to be difficult to deal with when removing the intake manifold for the ones near cyl 6, but if I try to just make that one not a stud I still have issues getting the manifold far enough away from the head to get it off without hitting the lip above it near cyl 6. Its almost as if I want a couple of studs near cyl 1/2 and the rest bolts.

The bolts shaft that I have are 70 mm and they seem short.
Where are the studs or bolts sourced from? M7x1.0 isn't common

M7x1.00x50mm is factory bolt size on cyl # 1 rest of holes should be same thread. M7 is a royal pain to find. I spent an hour @ the dealership trying to source a part number for a shorter bolt. They were completely clueless when searching for a bolt by dimension. At one point I asked "How can you be a dealership & not have a bins full of hardware?"... I ended up just making a spacer until I can come up w/ a part number.

    OR...

You can go to someplace like www.boltdepot.com / www.mcmaster.com & order whatever you want. I just wasn't sure what would be best material for a manifold stud & I didn't have time to research.

Email Jake Hershorin. Pretty sure they're using some studs off of an older BMW that has the right length for their PI spacer.
