Clearing out stock? Limited 2017 BMW F87 M2 Performance Edition available at US dealerships
This is interesting as this is not the upcoming CS variant of the M2 which is expected to have a new motor. That model will actually be a true performance edition of the M2. What we have here seems to be a cash grab by BMW and an attempt to create a bit of hype likely in order to get rid of some M2's before their values tank.
What is this Performance Edition M2? Nothing special. Dealer code ZL9 gets you manually adjustable sport seats, keyless entry without comfort access, automatic climate control, and the basic audio system. No frills here.
They give it M Performance parts including black kidney grilles, black side grills, M illuminated door sills, LED door projectors, the M Performance Exhaust System with titanium tips, and the M Performance coilover suspension system. The M Driver's package raises the limiter to 168.
This is an M2 with M Performance parts and no unnecessary options. There are only 150, all Alpine White, and the manual is the only transmission option.
Should you opt for it at the $61,695 price? No. Wait to see what the CS has in store. BMW is hoping people bite on this as they know a better M2 is on the way for 2018.Chrome Space Bar Issue: http://www.boostaddict.com/showthrea...338#post738338

How much is the CS projected to cost? I'll be in the market next year-ish.
Edit: After I make my n54 have 1000whp
