    Programing a key?

I found a key from my previous e92

Can it be programed to my car?

The dealer does it for new/duplicate keys. Not sure about re-programing them, but you would just need to sake the dealer. Then again, the cost of doing so may be almost the same as getting I new key. Not sure...

I would certainly hope reprogramming it is cheaper than a new key.

Dealers charge too much. One time I bought a modified OEM FOB (switchblade for my Acura) and had it cut and programed for $70
