Man can finally fly...33ft high! Water Jetpack - $100k+

    http://jetlev.com/
    or

Contrary to the second video, max height stated on the website is 33ft, so as not to hurt oneself from falling from such a height (10M = 33ft).

Flight time is supposedly hours, so its damn good fun, and approx. speed ~22mph

For the money, this one is way better:

Plus, it can be flown anywhere and doesn't need water. I think its still $85K.

    martin flight time?
The research and development programme has spanned almost 30 years. The Martin Aircraft Company was founded in 1998 specifically to develop a jetpack that could fly 100 times longer than the 26 seconds of the Bell Rocket Belt.

Martin is the top dog now, I think I posted about it a little while ago in another thread.

They did some SERIOUS R&D, its all carbon fiber and uses a 100 HP 2 stroke 4 cylinder car engine to power two ducted fans. It can fly for 30 minutes I believe at 60 mph. Get ready people.
Some people live long, meaningful lives.

Other people eat shit and die.

I'm not racist, I hate everybody equally; especially fat people.

So I looked into the martin, and you can't fly it anywhere but a private place with little traffic....kinda defeats the purpose.

I don't see it being employed here, since we can use cars, but in places where the terrain is hard to get around, it would definitely be useful.

Military is definitely going to have something like this soon....i'm sure of it.
