    Gintani Supercharged E92 M3 on 91 octane only - 525 whp

Here are the results from a recent Gintani Supercharger install on a BMW E92 M3. The vehicle already had a Gintani race exhaust installed a few months earlier. It is important to note this setup is running 7 psi on 91 octane only. This is a result that is putting down numbers similar to what early meth setups at around the same boost did on the Gintani Dyno Dynamics. This displays an excellent grasp of S65 tuning as we have not seen 7 psi on the stock motor from anyone else on 91 octane alone. The dynograph below depicts in red the baseline run before the supercharger install vs. the green run displaying Horsepower and Torque with the Gintani supercharger kit installed. Gains of +195.7wHp@8250 rpm and +117.7wTq@7150rpm with just the supercharger + exhaust on 91 pump.

Sure looks like it has evolved to be able to do this. I do not believe there is anyone else running 7 psi on 91 octane successfully on stock internals.

Nice results! My car with race fuel and Meth made 503whp @8psi on Gintani's DD's, and this new dyno curve looks better as well. A few months later at 9psi, the car made 579whp on a DJ, seeing the 6MT Gintani cars seem to make a little more power than the DCT, I would say that car is probably close to 570 whp on specialty Z's DJ, but that's just a guess, regardless very impressive results at only 7psi on 91.

I find it funny that the dme for the this car can be tuned without a piggyback or some sort of standalone. Very impressive

Tuning for an SC is different from tuning for a turbo.

Sc much easier to tune. From my understanding. One can only wish for a turbo s65.

I think it could happen with the right people buildng it.
I'll never say never. At one point the haters said the s54 was a timebomb with the first sc kit at extra low boost. Now look!

I seen an odd thread on another forums saying some crazy stuff about Gintaini, Oe tuning, and Sticky.

You know I will get the info anyway, say it. What reason would there be not to?

Edit: Looking at the top of it has a vortech tag so which one?

I think your guess is accurate and I would really like to see this car on a DJ.

Also important to note is your intake setup changed from the DD to the DJ runs, correct?

Saw you deleted this and I undeleted it simply so I can address it even though I do not need to.

Bud, it's Wayne Besanko trying again to go after people after his whole debacle on performanceforums.com. He can't get over that Jeremy left him plus BB has received some info on what is going on at Powerchip right now that he does not want us to have.

Yes, stuff being said that isn't true whatsoever but what can you do? I could care less, waste of time to even bother with people that desperate. I just feel for Jeremy and Gintani who Wayne constantly has to try to bring down because he destroyed Powerchip and now wants to destroy everyone else due to mental instability (much more on his mental state, but once again, no need for it here). Regardless, this isn't the thread for it.

The tune was tweaked on the street and another 1 psi was added, that is the difference. Now when I dynoed on MS109 with a race tune the car did make more power on the DD's, 503 vs. 471, but it did not transpire on the street, during all of my Vbox testing, the car was actually just as fast and at times faster on 91+Meth only, I can't explain why, but when I dynoed on the DJ same day, the car made only 6 more whp with race gas, not enough to say it really helped IMHO.

I think what happened was, and this is just a guess, initially we did not re-tune it on 91+Meth with the new intake when we dynoed it before adding race gas, but after we added the MS109 we did re tune it. I bet the new intake / filter needed a new tune regardless and this may have skewed the results, not sure, either way I judge the car by how it does on the street, Vbox times and comparo runs, rather than rely solely on dyno's. I came to the same conclusion as Mikewads and PG did, race gas did not seem to make the car faster.

I think they've progressed with the tune a bit, as most good tuners always do, the curve looks amazing compared to my dyno done several months ago, good stuff.
