Thinking about going with a 1 off custom tubular manifold and a Gt40r turbo

I have been thinking about going with a custom t4 gt40r turbo setup with power goals of 700whp pump fuel. Block would be O-ringed with a Elring head gasket. The other idea would be custom manifold with a t4 gt35r for epic fast spool, and 600-6xxwhp pump fuel. I'm up in the air about it just some thoughts. Nothing 100% yet. Click here to enlarge

I'm going to max out my current setup with pump fuel soon. I will be working with Dcvee, Trm, and Max Psi to see what the t3 gt35r .82 ar can do on pump fuels once my new clutch is installed. I may try and make an event next month to see what I can run. I currently am the worlds fastest US spec 14 sec turbo M3 on earth. Click here to enlarge

    LOL.

Go big or go home. If you are contemplating it then you aren't satisfied. If you are serious, go for it, I'l give you front page coverage of the build.

I will have to see what he 35r can do in t3 form in the next 2 months. No matter what when the manifold will is done it will be getting installed. Now if its with a gt35r t4 or a gt40r we shall see. Results of the 35r t3 spa tuning will be posted once it is done.

    There's always room for nitrous...

For a dedicated drag car this is not a bad idea.

I don't think I want that, but a street rape machine is more of the goal. Next month car goes to PA for a clutch install, and some other odds and ends. Once Max Psi gets their new dyno installed its off to them for some Trm remote tuning while the Wizard looks over everything to create some more power out of the current setup.

Ahh I thought you were suggesting I build 1. This coming year is going to be an interesting year for m50 based motors, and drag racing. Alot of guys are trying some new tricks, but nothing really mentioned about the funny gas yet.

Going to be an interesting year for a lot of BMW's I think. Would also like to see the S54 finally in the 10's.

I think the s54's will be smashing the into 9's with the correct drivers with the power levels some of these HPF car's are making.

No doubt! It's long past due for one of these guys to step up. Vik just teased us even though I know he can do it.

Its going to be interesting for sure. Look like I'm going to be looking for a t4 hotside for my current turbo, but I'm unsure what size hot side to go with. I'm thinking something between .62, and .82 a/r to help push me well into the 6xxwhp range. Dakar are you running Tec3r or a dme tune I forget.
