    WTF happened there?

You want me to run the league for you next year and deal with it @Sticky? Seems like you got a lot on your plate and might need a hand.

I bet a good bit on sports. Liking the jets, cowboys and pit next season. Worth a dollar each. My guys always paid and collected on bets after they expire.

If you need a hand running the league I can. You won't have to mix business and pleasure. Less drama.

I'm just trying to understand what you said with 'WTF happened here'?

I can always use a hand. Right now the thread is just for the moves and news in the NFL. We probably won't be worrying about the league for a bit unless you're saying you want to guarantee your spot already.

I'm sure @135pats will be posting a bunch of draft stuff.

We do have a couple alternates who want to come in.

Isn't everyone who played last year entitled to right of first refusal?

    Corey Coleman - 6.00 194
    WR BAYL

    Positives:

Dangerous speed merchant. Excellent field speed with distinct levels of acceleration. Instant gas off LOS; explodes into route stem and simply devours cushion. Burns up the three step game and could be a menace on underneath routes. Hard to mirror in short space; fluid, loose hipped athlete with v good suddenness. V good speed to the third area of the field. Corners don't feel comfortable when he stems vertically for fear of getting beat over the top. Quick feet off LOS helps to mitigate press, which he doesn't see often due to his speed. Reasonably well-built frame, not overly thin. Tapered lower body below the waste. Excellent, consistent production. Well-regarded in Waco; Football is a priority for him.

    Negatives:

Suspect hands and overall feel as a pass catcher. Does his best work before the ball is thrown/after the ball is caught. Marginal size for an outside NFL WR. Does not extend outside of his frame with consistency and will never be a dangerous on the ball player. Tested VJ does not align with tape; rarely 'climbs the ladder' to take the ball. Played in an offense which simply does not translate at the NFL level in any manner. Not a technician as a route runner at this point, though quick feet and overall tools suggest he could grow into it. No clear position at pro level; could be forced inside where suspect hands could cause issues with the higher target rate.

I'm not a fan of Collegiate-NFL direct comps.; whether it's intentional or not it creates a huge bias with the access to results at the pro level. So, to the extent i'm making a comparison, understand it's a comparison to the NFL player when he was a collegiate prospect.

I see a lot of Kendall Wright in Coleman. Coleman more juice and vertical speed, Wright a more well-rounded player coming out. Think Coleman has a bright future in this league just not quite sure where you play him.

I see people saying Lynch isn't retiring, that he just doesn't want to do the spring workouts.

Dumb. He needs the workouts. Favre tried to pull the same stuff.

I doubt it though. He's basically through.

Ironic, bc I wouldn't put Emmitt in my top 7-10 backs and it's not all that close. Can think of a dozen guys easily who i'd prefer.

Not to detract from a HOF career, I just don't think he's as good as his cumulative numbers would suggest. Same deal with Bettis; though I feel much more strongly with him that he is not a HOF player.
