Just bougt a new Oil Catch can. The plan is to utilise the OEM ventilation to the syphon/seperator and return to the oilpan as it is OEM, but also add a secont ventilation from the top of the valve cover, into a catch can with ventilation into the intake (post filter and pre turbo) which will then return to the oilpan.

One skilled builder/tuner in Austrailia has done this (a bit more extreme than I plan though) but you can see from the picture here how he does it. He uses the AN fitting system (3 of them) into a bigger pipe, and on to a catch can. This is a very nice build, RHD (Austrailia) with the turbo on the intake side.

Just to show the difference in design of the 2008 CP and 2011 CP.

There is noticable difference in the thickness between the valve reliefs, much thicker on the 2011. Just looks totally different....
These pictures show the differences much better.

Hi Sticky, to explain the situation a bit. Im Icelandic and so is angelicO-, I have met him twice though which is funny since there are only 300,000+ Icelanders in total. However we are/were members of the same Icelandic BMW forum (www.bmwkraftur.is/forum)

I live in Luxembourg which is about 80 Miles away from the famous Nurburgring and also about 85 Miles from SPA Francorchamps, so I have gone quite oftern up there to drive. Every now and again some crazy Icelanders bring their cars all the way to continental Europe to drive on the tracks close to me. This means driving 600 miles to a boat, that then takes them to Bergen in Norway, and then driving about 1000 Miles down to the Nurbrugring... hehe.. crazy.

That 1700 mile trip... is so worth it, considering that we don't have ONE track in Iceland !!!

But, are there any news Sveinn ? How is the assembly going ?

I was satisfied, nice sound and bass, but mainly 2 reasons.
    1. the Scorpion I have is past its prime, the welds that hold the core inside the muffler have broken which make the inide rattle.
    2. The Scorpion was not TUeV/ABE certified and the Supersprint is. Every thing here needs to be certified, bot for the yearly inspection and for driving on the Nurburgring.

I'm sure the Supersprint might even sound better, might be a deeper note...

How much more costly is that compared to going by the smyril line and driving there ?

Is it even cheaper maybe ?

Shipping the car in a container Reykjavik-Hamburg-Reykjavik is 800 euros.
Then you have to add flights.

Much better than taking the ferry.

I will definately go this route, how long does it take for the container to reach it's destination ?

And the contents of the container (being a CAR in this instance) are insured, right ?
