    Back on the road again.

Upgrades this time around are to name a few:
    -New and improved downpipe design
-3.15 diff installed again (from 2.93)
    -full VANOS rebuild
    -UUC DSSR
    -Re-designed crankcase breathing
    -Stainless steel braded clutch line
    -New rear crank oil seal
-Wrinkle painted engine cover and plenium

Car is working fine, except for the VANOS which is not responding like it should. Selenoids are working but they might be blocked, so I will remove them and clean.

The job for the next coming days will be to re-locate the Aquamist pump and tank to the trunk area. My pump did not survive the rainy and snowy winter.

Already have a new pup, plenty of piping and the tank is on its way.

Since my car does not have a cd-changer there is plenty of space at the drivers side rear bumper in the trunk.

Yes, I liked it very much, and I am thinking of changing back to it. Just wanted to try the 3.15 again now that I have the 6 speed Getrag, and the 6th gear is a 0.8x.

Update: I'm now in the process of moving the Aquamist pump to the trunk along with installing a new tank. The engine bay install was not a good idea and the pump did not like the Luxembourg weather.
    Pix later.

How is traction on your M3?

I have driven the E36 M3 Euro TT which was built by myself back in 2006.

    It still has twin GT22.

I bought a set of new tires, pirelli p zero, and even at third gear, the rear tires spin and spin.

How is traction on your M3 GT TT at third gear?

Just installed the 1.2.9 firmware for the VEMS which enables some much better boost control capabilities.

After the install of the new downpipes I was down on boost, probably because the wastegates were opening much more than before.

, and it was right next to the camera.

Hopefully, but if not, the search continues.

Fixed, now i can boost ! saw 1.3 Bar when I was dialing in the boostcontrol. Seems to want to boost a lot.

Having some strange issues though with the oil temp guage.. even with a new sensor installed its climbs to 120-130C
Laser temp gun on various engine parts only gives me 98-100C though so something is wrong.
Water temp also starts off at 80C and stops at around 100.

Voltage readings from the water temp sensor plug and oil temp sensor plug are off (the dashboard supply, not ECU) so it points to some problems with the dash, maybe bad ground.

Fixed the oil temp sensor problem. The sensor needs to be in the right side feed and the pressure sensor in the left feed.

    Svein,

Why did you go back to 3,15 r&p?
Do you have 5 speed gearbox?

i broke the 5speed ZF, now have the 6speed Getrag.

therefore the 3.15 is a better fit I think.

2.93 was perfect with the 5speed and my torque

I drive my S50 B32 Twin GT22 and find it needs a taller gearing, as the boost comes on very early.

that at is very true, the turbos really liked the 2.93 diff, and even the 2.65 diesel one. I often find myself driving the car like a diesel, in the 2000-4000rpm range. No need to rev it Click here to enlarge. I have about 650-750nm in that range.

I managed a lap of 2min50sec on Spa on road tires with the 2.65 diff.

.....might put the 2.93 back into the car.

    Svein,
Imagine M4 came with 6 inline cylinders and turbo. Our E36 M3s are twin turbo for years and yet more powerful.

Click here to enlarge yeah.. I feel somehow that I am driving the M3/M4 BMW should make. I have had Ceramic brakes since 2007 and TwinTurbo since 2008. I wonder how fast it would be with the M-DTC installed Click here to enlarge

To discover that I have installed an automatic transmission on my E36 M3 Euro TT and yes it does get much faster. Just to give a hint 60-100 mph (96-160 km/h ) in 1,87 seconds... no loss of boost during gear shifts.
