    Limited Slip Options?

What aftermarket LSD options exist for the 335? Does it matter if it's a DCT? Thanks

    Quaife.

Does not matter but you want to check the gearing.

I'd prefer Wavetrac but I don't know if they have DCT.

Yep, great suggestion and I do not see why not. The diff really doesn't matter that much you just have to make sure you pick the right final drive.

first off you gotta know that its gonna cost you loads of money since your Diff is soldered in place so you need to swap the whole pumpkin .
You can send you VIN to HP Autowerks , they can help you out with options and pricing.

Thanks, just a quick refresher, is there any breakdown as to which build dates and models have the welded diff vs. not welded?

MT i think around middle of 2007 and AT middle of 2008 but best is always to send the VIN to either BIRDS in the UK for EU and HP Autowerks for US . This for Quaife LSD which in my opinion is the best option available.

I have a 2007 march produced 335i, but according to Birds (who got my VIN) that is the month they started welding the diffs. I need to get the serial no. of my diff and send it to James so he can check if my diff is welded or not.

I will be getting my Quaife LSD in the next couple of weeks and try to get it installed shortly, luckly I have a bolted diff so it didnt cost near as much. I highly recommend HP Autowerks. Great service and very educated with our cars! I will be using them to get all of my m3 chassis bits as well.

I have quaife lsd on an '09 e92 AT (which is bolted). I don't know about 335is w/ dct, I also want to know b/c I will get one after I sell my current 335i. It's a shame that lsd is not an option for the 335, not even for the is. A car without an lsd is NOT a real sports car.
