In Texas you can own automatic firearms as long as they were manufactured before 1986. I can go to my favorite local store and pick up a semi P90, MP5, AR15...... OR I could pay ridiculous money ($14,000) for a wobbly ass old-school full-auto AK-47.

OR you can modify the sear on certain weapons..... and be screwed at the Federal level.....

some states you can with a FFL. but not really. need to check into state laws. politicians are retarded when making dumb laws.. a bayonet lug makes its an assault rifle.. collapsable stock makes the weapon more dangerous, ect.. idiots..

Lol indeed it isn't cheap. My friend buys bulk and it still sets him back a good amount. A better power scope on mine and I can reach out and 'touch' someone farther than he can lol....

When I stop dabbling in the car game I will buy another gun, right now I'm too tied up in that and playing airsoft.

What happens if you modify the semi-autos to be auto?

I don't get how it is fair for thieves to possibly be armed with auto weapons since they do not care about the law but I have to fight back with a semi-auto if it comes down to it. I would rather have an auto to be on equal footing.

For home protection you really don't want a AK, because that thing will blast thru sheet rock(humans in other rooms will weep). A shot gun maybe a semi auto, or auto if its allowed.

For my full auto home defense I'm buying this:

It's a 12 round per second, 600 feet per second, .22 caliber pellet rifle. (yes it is rifled, not a BB gun)

I believe each average grain .22 pellet carries 10ft-lbs of energy at that velocity, and it is more than enough to seriously injure someone at close range, not to mention it is very accurate for what it is. (basically a modified Tippmann 98 custom)

They make various kinds of .22 pellet rounds as well, hollow-point, polymer tip, full metal, match, ect.

You can use a High Pressure Air (HPA) paintball tank, which I have. It's a Ninja 68CI/4500PSI.

well, since its a gun thread now.. ill show you why semi is better than auto anyway. auto is spray and pray, many, many times have opponents tried using that with no succcess.. controlled pairs/failure drill gets them every time Click here to enlarge.. just got back from a long day.. ill have vids up shortly..ill put it in the random awesomness thread though, but here is a teaser from today adventures..
