Are you making the whole RPM range uniform? Or keeping the stock taper?

    Heres mine.

Those numbers are obtained from your BIN file, not from the XDF itself.

Ok, that's good then, and glad I found the typo in my bin.

I guess that means the xdf is only addresses of the values, sizes of the types (to express the arrays in linear memory and byte wise address), min/max for said table values and their supported accuracy. I should look into that, I doubt they are all floating point. I've never really looked at what's in the xdf its self, I suppose I should.

Yep. Floating point is pretty common and usually automatically generated by the value in the hex, but if you really want to double check the defined stuff go right ahead, guarantee there's errors. Can they be found without an a2l, damos etc is another story, but you're on the right track.

So it works great until it doesn't. It's worked great at 15F, and died at 30F. Below -2F, if it fails, you're pretty $#@!ed though with high ethanol content. Still great advances, down to only needing a few more tables. My taper is similar.

Add 50% to the 100rpm columns then copy and paste those to the other RPM points up to 1400 to eliminate the taper. Mine doesnt hesitate a bit down to around mid 20's which is the coldest i've been able to tested it to.

From a distance it looks like a taper because im comparing it to a stock bin in the background. I removed the taper and set all values from the 100rpm column. You may also have to raise the table limit value. I think mine is set to 500.

It's not a taper so much as a ramp up as temp decreases, and I set all values. What I'm getting at is it works really well usually, but sometimes randomly the car will start and die, similar to how before this table was exposed how the car just wouldn't start, or would start slow and run poor for a minute or so. When this happens below zero F it's very difficult to start. It's not every time, but it happens. If it's warmer it only takes a second try, but when it stalls out at low temps is when it's more difficult. The car seems to vary or learn some of this, it's interesting albeit annoying.

Small update here, I have traced the warm up enrichment tables for the short "open loop" period following start. There are a few, but I think I narrowed down one that can be used to cure the issues described above. It is currently being tested. Once confirmed, it will be added to the flex fuel implementation as well Click here to enlarge

Very awesome, Jake, keeping on top of all of these details. These updates will help to maintain our future FlexFuel vehicles as high-performance daily drivers.

Not to be a PITA but is it possible that the ethanol sensor/analyzer setup via MHD will be ready for prime time within a month?

How do you make this change you mentioned?
