1- maybe I can save on gas.

2- I need a new software upgrade anyway. I have to pull my JB3 out eventually.

1- For extra MPG, go back to stock mapping, and/or keep your right foot light. (if you hear turbos spooling you are pressing too hard)

2- Pull it when it is most convenient. Who knows, maybe you'll end up using map5 on some dumbass who won't leave you alone on the road.

Exactly, I always leave mine on for roadtrips. You'll love when you come across those empty open roads, it wouldn't be as fun on stock settings.

i would leave it in.. i get better gas mileage by 3-4 miles a gallon with my tune. i just leave it in cruise control around 72 mph. at least for my gearing i get best results at that speed.

I'll leave it in. I thought I could save gas but it won't be a fun ride without it. I'll be overtaking a lot of big speeding trucks on the way up.

I just get better MPG with the tune. Of course its all irrelevant on the autobahn when the cruise is set for 100mph.

The Autobahn, I'm jealous. Why does America suck with stuff like this? American BMW's don't self-destruct at 100 mph, same cars yet different standards.

I figured more power, more gas.

I'm pleasantly surprised with what I'm hearing.

Depends on your throttle position. The car isnt always making 350 hp. When you cruise on the highway it only requires about 30-40 hp if that. That is directly proportional to the amount of air the engine consumes, and it probably wont change with or without the tune.
