Simple boost gauge install
So I was looking for a simple way to measure my boost while waiting for the newer vent gauges to be released. It's really cheap to install, and works well for your basic setup.
$25 El cheapo equus gauge/kit
$5 glow shift single gauge pod
It isn't the best mounting place in terms of viewing the road and closely watching the gauge, but I didn't like any of the dash mounting options. I'm 6'2" with long legs and it's not in my way at all. I like it so much I'm actually going to buy a decent gauge for it soon.
I wish someone would sell the vent/dash mount gauge holders without their overpriced $250 dollar kit.2007 335i E90

No pod necessary. Especially since you don't have paddle shifters getting in the way this looks like a good idea for you. mounted with velcro on the bottom and back of the gauge. This is how my boost gauge was setup in the 135i before I traded it in.

Simplicity is key.
BTW, what new vent gauge are you waiting for?
OP, I noticed in your sig that you have the new s1000. Can you give me some feedback? I have been keeping my eyes on them for a little while now. This is my signature...

The S1000 is flat out amazing. I've been riding for for about 6 years and this bike is the fastest yet most docile Bike I've ever ridden. Having different power modes, traction control, lean sensors, and ABS makes for a killer street bike. Did I mention it's the fastest 1000cc ever built2007 335i E90
