    The single turbo experience.

So Iím sitting here wondering about "you" the userís single turbo experience. I have recently purchased my kit (VFF900) and I'm awaiting install within the next 3 weeks. Over on the other forum e90**** most seem to bash any of the products, from what I call the "Iím too broke to afford, so lets hate" attitude.
Obviously human nature gets in the way and makes me question my purchase, but Iím in too deep now to turn around.
So lets have a good discussion from well educated people willing to offer good advice. This isnít about what kit is better, but rather the overall experience.
Lets discuss some do's and doníts. possible tuning advice (Iím going to be running jb4), and any overall experience to be had. I would love to learn and come out from this discussion 1st off happy I made the purchase, but mainly learn from the people that have been in my shoes, so that this becomes and experience to not be forgotten.
Look forward to some great discussions and advice and input from everyone!!!!

I have nothing to contribute here, other than I'm jealous Click here to enlarge

Seriously though, I'm excited for all the single turbo owners. I love reading about the people pushing the platform - the wins, the losses, the learnings. Like anything in life, there is only one way to grow and that is to push beyond the status quo.

Good luck - keep us updated!

Despite the less than impressive quarter mile times of single turbo cars it will be unbelievably faster. It will take some time to get used to the new driving characteristics but as soon as you get used to it you'll love it. Just be careful with it because it can get sketchy fast.

Sketchy in what sense? Street safety or engine safety?

Run out of road and time a lot faster. You definitely need to be fully alert when going to do a pull.

There's already a single turbo thread where guys share their setups.

Regardless, if you have the cash, it's a no brainer to get a serious turbo upgrade.

I already have the kit it's sitting in the house. I was asking because things change, tunes evolve and people find better ways to get the job done.

You found it, no worries. More guys are running single turbos than people realize.

Just the fact that people said a single turbo car is sketchy, runs out of road faster and you replied, "glad to hear some positives!" tells me that you have the right personality for a single turbo car.
