This was proven a LONG time ago, if you're not using true values (only possible with a flash) then the DCT is getting "manipulated" (false) TQ values.

I know...what I'm saying is...you've brought no new information to market that hasn't been on their site for months. Therefore, a little late for the announcement no? Unless we are to expect results very very very soon? haha

Um well I don't know if everyone is sitting on the dodson site. This is the first anouncement article on a BMW forum making people aware I've seen.

I just didn't know if you were aware. Just sayin, it's been no secret and they've been working on it for a long time.

Nobody is claiming it's a secret. We're close to actual application. No point leaving this hanging for months.

I hear ya. I'm just bored, and haven't had as much forum time lately as usual so figured I'd take advantage and give you a hard time.

Where are you getting your facts from BQ? Also is the lease statement a jab at me? lol
By no means was I jabbing at you or anyone . Majority of people with leased cars, regardless of what car you have, dont give a toots azz about what happens to the car (as long as they can return it with no penalty) cause they are not keeping it.

You werent making enough power with that SlowCede for it to pose a threat to the DCT. I mean, I even pulled on your with my previous RENNtech tuning on 441, and completely distroyed you with PTF's tuning at PBIR. All the FBO you had didnt do much Click here to enlarge
Did you forget about that ? Click here to enlarge hehehe

As long as the JB4 has Terry's backend flash, this is not an issue.

Agree, but to what extent of the torque ? I would bet the flash only will produce more torque than the stack tuning before slippage.

They should be able to hold the same amount of torque. The limit is in the DCT TCU and its interaction with the DME (sharing of calculated torque values). There will be limits to how much torque can be reported by the flash. Truth be told, the same limits of calculated torque exist for a backend flashed piggyback and a flash tune. Why? Because you can modify the backend flash to report the same load as a true flash only tune.

Someone should give that FL335 guy a heads up to not send SSP a single penny for their DCT clutches. And if you're using a backend flash, you've basically rendered the piggyback a boost and meth controller??? Why not run the entire tune through flash, and (safely) run the meth system independently.
