Vid of a couple S85 V10 Dinan Strokers

The video claims one is a 5.7 and one is a 5.8, I don't know about that. Why would two different cranks be made and that would also mean two different sets of rods? Dinan just carried these rods over to the S65 so I just don't think that is accurate:

Maybe one person rounded down and the other rounded up?

We used a Dinan 5.7L stroker in the Piper V10 and I've driven with Steve in his 6-series. Great upgrade.

It is an excellent upgrade, didn't realize the motor you guys stuck in there was stroked, insanity.

Even better! Did the throttle bodies make a difference?

We didn't do a before and after, but the stock TB's run out of air even without the stroker kits... I think its a great upgrade.

Dinan made a somewhat recent change to their stroker kit that bumped the displacement from 5.7L to 5.8L

For 30 G's said and done at the typical 20% discounted price (stroker, install, throttle bodies, headers, etc) I would expect some sick results. Never seen much in the way of dynos, etc. That above video of Dinan vs. stock doesn't exactly blow me away. An intake+tune+header+exhaust car would pull away just as hard vs. stock.

Wonder why the change? They increased the stroke a bit it seems?
