    MDORPHN

    Hit 50,000 miles on drive home from VIR where my 1M (aka "MDORPHN') successfully defended its title as fastest street production car in the 2014 Ultimate Track Car ChallengeClick here to enlarge

    Now that I no longer need be concerned about warranty coverage, I can come out of the closet with a full list of my current modifications.

    BTW, the current set-up -- using Rob Beck's well-proven "hybrid" turbos -- will very shortly be replaced by a very elegant single turbo set up using a HTA GT3082R turbo w/ .82 A/R TiAL V-Band turbine housing.

    I'm curious about the Corner Brake Control delete mod you had done. Do you have any further information on how to code it in? I imagine the 1M uses the MK60E5 with M-specific programming so it probably isn't a direct conversion for non-M cars, but it'd be a neat feature to experiment with.

    The Corner Braking Control (CBC) is disabled on my 1M when I turn off fully the traction control.

    Mike Benvo (bpmsport.com) coded the Continental Teves MK60E5 DSC ecm on my car so it operates like the E9x M3 so all traction control except the ABS is turned off when you hold the button down. In other words, the CBC is switchable.

    Made an enormous difference as I can now rotate the car using the brakes.

    Ok, thanks for the info. Guess he installed the E9x M3 DSC module programming and coding on your 1M DSC module. Unfortunately with the mismatched hardware (brakes/master cylinder/steering rack/etc), this isn't an option for non-M cars.

    Though that was an option, he instead compared the 1M DSC coding to the M3's and identified two significant differences. He made an educated guess about which one was the CBC and got it right!
