    Muffler Delete?

Has anyone with an N55 ditched the muffler yet? I found a Youtube vid of someone with a 335i but haven't heard a 135i yet. I've been toying with the idea of getting rid of it but I don't want to find out it sounds like $#@!.

We had someone ask something similar regarding the M54 lately. The advice generally ended up being don't cut the muffler, just buy a used exhaust if it comes down to it.

It wasn't an issue of cost, it's just the cars I usually like in terms of sound are older cars that sound raw and untamed. I was just curious to see what this car would sound like without a muffler.

I rewatched the video I saw of an N55 335i without its muffler and didn't like it as much as I originally did.
