That was quick work! I would recommend you either put the wastegates at a 45* angle or less to the piece of tubing they're on, or place them in the bend ahead of them towards the turbo for your next version. You basically want your wastegate in the flow path so the gas has as little bend as possible to get into the wastegate and out of the exhaust manifold. Keep up the good work.

Thanks! We tried to get the wastegates at a good 45* angle, but ran into spatial constraints. We'll figure something else out down the road.

    Update:
No pics right now, I'll take some this evening.

Started the car and idled it Tuesday night for about 30 mins while checking for leaks/issues. None so far.

-Intercooler reinstalled, intercooler piping all connected. Need T-bolt clamps for the couplers, the ones I ordered were too small. Using worm clamps for now until I can pick some up from Summit tomorrow or Saturday.

-Wastegates installed, dump tubes fabricated and installed

-pneumatics connected, boost solenoid connected and wired up

-wrapped the top half of the downpipe

Drove the car up and down the street a couple of times last night to get the car up to temp, checked the car over again and then pulled a quick log.

Open dump makes me smile lol.

Got plenty left to work on, but initial log looks good.

    Thanks!

Walbro 450 and a new set of NGK 5992's are out for delivery today. Will try to get those installed, update to the new MAC 8 JB4 firmware, and finish re-installing my meth setup (CM14/CM10) today.

Also, there's this. Its hard to say for sure, but WG pressure isn't quite as fast as my RB's were.

Finished fuel pump install, all seems good. Thanks @SteveAZ !

Pulled a log on Map 2. At 17psi everything seems good.

Found a leak in the methanol system, then some crap in the filter. Primed, primed, and re-primed. Pulled a log on map 3 w/ a 50 add. Target is lower than I expected it to be, but boost is on target (even if tapering slightly) @ 20psi. Blew apart a silicon coupler right after the 3rd-4th shift, so don't mind the obvious major boost leak.

Also, need to get a new chargepipe/bov setup. Still on the factory one and I don't think it will be long before it lets go lol. The VRSF one looks pretty good and seems to be reasonably priced. Thoughts on BOV? Tial or HKS?

Is there a big difference between the Tial or HKS design? They both are popular.

I don't think so. Just throwing it out there to see what thoughts are on it. I think I like the sound of hks better, but its hard to tell over a video.

You'd have to really hear them in person to come to a conclusion based on the sound difference.

Minor update: been daily driving the car @20psi (usually a Friday through Sunday car). No issues as of yet. Had to reflash to fix my cruise control, using the standard maps provided by terry always breaks it, no idea why. Fortunately after the reflash the trans seems to shift better under power. D mode also seems to work better without the twitchyness of the twins.

Vrsf charge pipe with tial ordered. Haven't received a tracking number yet but hope to get it this week or early next.

In Logs boost still tapers a bit, not sure why. There's no way I'm maxing out a 1.00 a/r housing right now so maybe I have a minor boost leak... I'll look everything over when I install the new charge pipe. Ideas welcome.

Was dead even with a heads/cam C6 Z06 the other day from 30-140. So def making more power as he used to walk all over me. See before video here:
    RB 135i vs C6 Z06:

Waiting for the new jb4 mobile update to post to the play store so I can upgrade to the Mac9 firmware. We'll see how it works tomorrow hopefully.
