These kinds of threads make me wish I had a garage. I'd be out there every day building something.

    Small update:

Downpipes/dumptube materials, intercooler piping, v-band assemblies, and air filter showed up yesterday. Kinda took the night off last night, so no progress.

I still need to figure out something on the exhaust manifold studs. The factory ones are too short. I did notice that the intake manifold studs are the same size and thread pitch and are much longer. I'm considering ordering them to see if they would work. Assuming they work, they'd probably have to cut down some.

    Any suggestions?

Second, I'm gonna need new head studs. My head flanges are 3/8" thick so ill probably just need studs that are that much longer. Any suggestions?
the heater element needs to stay plugged in or your waterpump will stay on wayyyy longer than necessary on shut down. I kept mine in that part of the pcv hose, and cut the heater element housing piece down so it was round and then ran a hose from it to the turbo intake filter. It keeps your pcv system in tact and keeps the heater element functioning. Pm me if you want pics for better details.

The only criticism I'll give of your design is that it looks like you're going to have a bad time trying to get all the nuts on the flange studs. Otherwise, keeping truckin man.

UPDATE: Been busy with other things and just got back to the 135i last night. Manifold is mounted, turbo mounted, no clearance issues right now, started on fabricating the downpipe. Removed WW reservoir neck.

This afternoon i'll be cutting off the rear intake tube and trying to finish up the exhaust portion (moving to all V band). Ill also be re-mounting the intercooler and taking measurements for chargepiping.

Here's some more pics! Excuse the air filter, not the color I thought I was getting......

These are the studs we use when longer ones are needed, they are proper BMW exhaust studs, and are heat treated as such so they will not fail. Using intake manifold studs in a 1500+ degree environment is not a smart idea, but I know you do not like being told what to do, so if you want to use intake studs in your exhaust go ahead.

So these are the same ones that go into an e36 M3 from the factory? In that case, I have them sitting in a bag in the shop somewhere. Thanks!

Tony...rather than frequenting this guy's thread, why don't you focus that time and energy on getting your already paid for, but not shipped, orders out the door? You are making yourself look way worse than usual dude.

Aprpeciate the advice on how to spend time while eating lunch, got an email notice saw the guy was looking for studs, I showed him where to get studs. Have you ordered anything from us, if not your opinion is really not valid on our products. Cheers

Actually, my opinion is very valid because it's the way you fall short on customer service, promise dates and the way you represent yourself on the forums that you haven't and will not get my business. Could have sold me a set of stage 3 turbos and the dual shotgun kit, but the above kept you from making $12000-14000. Oh well, not my loss.

and you forgot one thing. Yes you told him where to get them, and then you added a childish little backhanded comment to it. Just keep making yourself look bad and keep neg repping me for stating facts.

Last time I checked, Tony didn't put a gun to anyone's head asking for them to pay up. These are the risks you take with products that aren't ready-to-ship. I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I am not a business. Again, as a vendor, you should put your time and effort into creating a positive impression on the forums and not conducting yourself the way you do. Ie, trying to bully people who display an opinion of you that you don't like, when the appropriate thing to do would be to take the constructive criticism and try to better yourself.

as far as the defiv product I recieved, it was cut out with a band saw and looks like garbage. I also was not taken care of by the vendor when I stated my displeasure. So, upon seeing a review thread, I decided to add my review as well so potential customers are aware of the current product quality.

I'm conducting myself like a very classy individual right now, you should consider doing the same.

Thanks man. Appreciate it. You would be surprised the people who are actually customers are the most patient, and understand things take time. As far as Stage 3, the wait has been out of hand, we know it as well as anyone, this has been addressed, and everyone person offered a refund if wanted. This guy just wants to troll, which is fine, thats what forums are for.

The link sent you is for 42mm studs whatever you have there is not them. They have no star on the end and no shoulder. I never said they were E36 studs. If you want the correct studs you have the link.

My bad, didn't notice that. I was at work and just glanced at the page real quick and assumed they were factory E36 studs (thats what I have).
