What size turbo is this? I thought @fastgti69 had some boost tapering also that he fixed, maybe it's the same cause? Just in the tuning?

6466 twin scroll. No idea whats causing it. I was guessing a small boost leak, but it doesn't seem consistent. I'm going to re-check all the connections in the charge pipe and exhaust.

Awww man bro. I'm sorry about that man, it's horrible. I hope you're okay!! Buy the car back and pull out the whole thing and straight swap. Now you have an extra motor handy.

wtf. i hate when you spend so much time and effort on something and then someone elses stupidity or mistake causes it all to go down the drain.

hopefully you will be able to get it back and part her out. buy another n54 car and just swap-a-roo everything you have worked so hard on so far! never an easy road. Sorry to see this, and good luck in your next endeavor, whatever you choose to do!

I'm alright, just really bummed out. I guess the plan is to get the car back, which sounds like its gonna be 2-4k to do so, then pull the motor/turbo kit/etc, and everything for an auto swap kit (should i decide to go back to auto in the future) and part the rest out, and send the frame to the scrap yard.

I'm considering upgrading the daily from an E36 to an E46 and rock that for a bit, while I build up some cash to put with what I'm getting from insurance so I can do a built motor/VAC head with my 6466. That way when I do get another 135i, just drop the motor in it and go.

Iunno, right now I'm just feeling out my options. its all up in the air at this point.

I understand your position good sir. I hope you take everything into consideration and it all works out for you in the end. Everything happens for a reason, even though the reason might not be obvious to you right now. Glad you're okay, that's the important part.
