Fifth Gear Team Test BMW 435I

As always they went a bit silly.
But they all really liked the car.

Not much of a review IMO.

    Nah, it's British entertainment.
But they can be very harsh on cars.
It is not easy to get them this excited.
I can not remember a review of those 4 where a car got 35,5 points, ever.
So they really really liked it.
Enough to skip all the testing and go for a drifting exercise.
Which says a lot about the handling of the car.

You have a point. It just isn't how I would do a review.

To be honest, I prefer reviews with the opinions of people who can drive pretty decently and trash cars over boring reviews based on numbers. Sometimes the car with the highest numbers might not be the better, funnest, and most exciting to drive. Kinda like Chris Harris reviews, I like the way he reviews the cars. Tiff Needell is also a great driver, I like him, way more than the clowns at Top Gear.

I don't consider numbers boring. I prefer hard data I can learn from to people saying how much they have going sideways.

Needell is a better reviewer than the clowns at Top Gear but this isn't his best work.
