Seem like i'm one of the few who got the Cobb catback and probably the only one who posted video online. The 335 catback DOES drone (1500-2000rpm with higher load request) in MT and from another forum seem like AT drone even more. It's not intolerable but can be annoying some time (a lot better than my olders cars tho and most other catback for e92). I still like it very much, not too loud, not to quiet, lot of burble, seem like it flow a bit better. Anyway beeing on the XI platform I would expect at most 450awhp to stay reliable so more than 3 inch is not a plus for me.

Here is the 2 video I made for now (please note I have stock DP):

135 and 335 exhaust system is completely different, check first post and you can see. I too would be interested to see how it sounds on a 1. It does sound great on the 335!

Sure the piping is different but it's not going to be some radical difference. If you wouldn't know you were listening to a 335 you wouldn't be able to tell.

Right on point. Nothing is shared after the catalytic converters.

The E90 335i also has the dual exit exhaust and the 135's only have single exit.

There are differences but it's the same motor gentlemen. It isn't going to be radically different and changing the pipes won't turn it into a Ferrari V8. Yes, best to hear to it on the 135i but the 335i video gives you a good idea.
